K & N Kitchen Boards was born when i retired from the Carpentry trade after 48 years but still had the creative urge and working with timber is what i have always enjoyed so designing and crafting Artisan cutting/serving boards etc was a perfect fit.
I source appropriate timbers from wherever i can find it i.e Mary Valley, Brisbane and Central Qld.   With the favourites being Mahogany's - Beech - Tas Oak - Black Bean - Maple - Crow Ash - Camphor Laurel - Blackbut - Blackwood - American Oak - NG Rosewood and many many more species.
As all boards are hand made no 2 boards are identical so all boards have a personal touch.
The boards are first coated with mineral oil and then with a beeswax mineral oil blend so there is no nasty chemicals involved.
